Chaeyeon had a disaster practice this morning - she took several falls on her 3Lz attempts - so I think she was a little tense in this free skate as a result. Considering the struggles of this morning, this was a triumph, and it was overall a very good program, but it didn't quite have the same sparkle and ease like at 4CC, and I think she parked some of the facial engagement to get the jumps done. Her movement quality is improving more and more each day, and I think this is a nice program for her, but it wasn't the competition she was looking for after the highs of 4CC. Hopefully she can come back stronger next season.

If not for that 2nd Lutz, Kim would be clean. Sigh, still a night and day performance compared to what she did in the SP and she should be pleased with herself.

Also get a good massage for your back after so many practice falls.
