Oh, poor Ahsun - I think the pressure of Worlds/Olympic spots got to her, because she was skating so well in practice, but with this skate, she may not make the free program, which means that Korea can only qualify a maximum of two spots, only one of which will be guaranteed, and will require Haein Lee to place top 10.

No, Korea can still qualify three spots as long as the placements of the other two Koreans add up to 13 or less, they'll just have to send a skater to China in Autumn who places high enough at the Olympic Qualifying competition.
As long as Chaeyon skates as she usually does, they'll also have 2 - Either off the bat, as long as Haein also qualifies for the Free, or if a Korean skater places high enough at the Olympic Qualifying competition in China.

And with that, I am doing like the spectators and leaving for food. But, I'll be away rather longer than the length of the resurfacing.

I'll pause the stream and start playing catch-up after eating. But I may not be able to watch all of the remaining skaters tonight.

I’m more concerned about the lvl 4 with a cluster missing??

So few people get level 4s... so when it happens with an obvious mistake on a cluster, it is indeed worrisome... but i always trust more the TP than the judges LOL... so maybe she had another feature ?

Nothing wrong with the ice then.

I could see the stress on her face but she did solid, af.

She has to get faster to be in the top tho, and there is too many crossovers.

skaters mentioned the ice is quite soft.
I guess some skaters have an easier time adapting than others.

For Ahsun, boots were also an issue.

I agree Sofia is a bit slow and needs better in between though but she delivered her jumps with ease

With the stumble in the Steps, even more seasoned & favoured skaters would not get 70 with how the scoring has been this season.
Only 8 women have passed 70 in the Short, and two of them are Juniors.

She would have, if she had skated later.... As always, the judges are harsh on the first 2-3 groups, so the GOEs and PCS are lower.
