And she creates another magical moment! She quieted a thrilled and rambunctious audience to a reverent silence with such a beautiful skate. Alysa has been unflappable so far this week - she has seemed so relaxed and like she's having a blast every second. I love seeing her soak in the moment and disregard the pressure, and this program is so special and magical. I was crying before she even started skating - I just love watching someone skate for the love of the sport. Congratulations, Alysa - I am so glad you came back to the sport and gifted us with this amazing program.

Julia is so cool - she's struggled with funding issues and is another skater who is finally hitting her stride as she gets older. She's such a great performer and has such lovely jumps when she lands them. Only doing a 2T will hurt her BV, but it also helped her have a clean skate, and she made up for it with her performance throughout this entire program. I so hope she can qualify for the free and the Olympics - I so badly want to see her there.

and Julia Sauter will make it to the Olympics! Congratulations!
