Yihan seemed hesitant and nervous; I hope her coach cuts her some slack. After all she did beautifully this season. I like her reserve but a bit of joy in training might make a big difference. For me the program and dress are wonderful. She won Bronze at JGP China with a big smile at the medal ceremony

How odd - as she stepped out of the flip she arched back to keep her balance it was right on the music. Came off rather nice. : )

Oof, that's the risk of doing slides - Any little loss of balance is an automatic fall (ask Sofia Muravieva, she has experience with that). This had a big chance of being a PB otherwise, but she should still be so proud of how far she's come since last year.

Another Russian transfer... another Moulin Rouge

I changed my mind. Moulin Rouge is more insufferable than Swan Lake. I can't stand One Day I'll Fly Away. I like Stefania a lot, but I muted the entire middle section.
