2025 World Team Trophy Rhythm Dance

Maybe it was a strategy? And niext season they will emerge with material they deserve and get the scores they deserve?
My guess is they will do some italian hit from 90s and italian classic warhorse for the free dance. Nothing original, nothing risky but boring/cheesy italian stuff they can do well.

We reconvene in the Men's SP thread in 15 minutes from now.

TBH only one - from Lithuania and they would be probbaly insulted by this description. Kaz and Geo aren't considered Eastern European (the fact that Geo is competing at Euros is baffling...).
but they were all under soviet influence which is my point... and these are more or less the judges who killed my lala... so i am holding a grudge :)

Hang on, Paul's portraying a lifeguard?!

But lifeguards wear red and yellow. [Tried to find a photo of Chris Hemsworth in a lifeguard uniform from his days in "Home And Away" to illustrate this, but couldn't].

Do they wear white in Canada? That wouldn't be wise, as they would blend in with the snow and ice.

But, they were great. As they always are.

Into the lead.

red and white like our flag. and i have never in my entire life, seen a lifeguard near snow nor ice... we have indoor pools and summer here too... as a matter of fact, it probably gets hotter on some of our lakes and beaches than chris hemsworth

So did I, but still it doesn't mean they aren't an abomination :)
I like them a lot as a team, but I just can't get into the robot program @ all. I also don't understand the "ketchup & mustard" costumes for their rhythm dance.

Very interesting. I thought the yellow and red uniforms were standard around the world nowadays.

Although I did have my tongue in my cheek when talking about the snow and ice, there was a serious point behind it. Up in the Arctic regions, lifeguards wearing white uniforms would have trouble being seen against the background ice if they were having to perform a rescue. But, given the sheer length of your coastline up there, I suppose any rescues are more likely to be done by helicoptor or by lifeboat. And the rescue team would be wearing lifejackets and cold weather gear rather than t-shirts and shorts!

Anyway, thank you for the reply (sorry I didn't catch it sooner).

The scoring of Chock and Bates continues to be utterly ridiculous. 91+ and not squeaky clean; their twizzles in the RD were like the 5th weakest in the field.
