I’ll look for you!I'm so excited for my first worlds. I arrive Monday so hoping to get a little touristy time before spending every day at td garden. If anyone sees a brunette woman wearing a Canadian hat that is me!

Out in the wild west, with dry air winters and summers, and in skating arenas, cracked skin is a real issue. I wont bore you with my skin moisturizers but on splits, I use antibiotic cream with pain killers. In my old age, it just gets worse.Hmm, though I agree with you in general, as it happens I am grateful you brought it up for entirely different reason - I am struggling to find a moisturiser after the Lubriderm changed the old magic formula to something horrible and left me and my skin high and dry (literally) I might give this one a try. It seems only the Americans understand my skin. Sorry for off topic!
I would love to go to England! So many historic sites, museum ships and museums in general. I just hate airplanes. I guess I am stuck with Panama, Alaska and Hawaii.Chris needs a trip to Blackpool to broaden his horizons![]()
Hummmm...there is always a repositioning cruise to Normandy and then a short trip to England! But then there is Indonesia and Thailand and Japan and the 56 ethnic minorities of China...

The trouble with being 76 is my clock is running out and I have had only 14,750 days with my current wife so those are precious too.
Weegies are in a language group of their ownPosh old people, mostly.
Not many accents I struggle with. Inner city Glesga schoolkids chatting among themselves, though...

I see they got a reply directly on X so i´m hoping this will help get it quickly:Anastasia and Luke seems to have lost their luggage. I´m really hoping this will solve quicklyI see they got a reply directly on X so i´m hoping this will help get it quickly:
I was just thinking about yesterday about lost luggage and how stressful that would be right now when it´s not only Worlds but Olympic spots at play![]()
Kristen lives the opposite end of the UK. She skates out of Swindon, and lives somewhere in the South of England. Ana and Luke are Dundee (Scotland). There are plenty of direct flights from Heathrow and Gatwick to the US, and I would have expected Kristen to travel from one of those. Ana and Luke will have flown from one of the Scottish airports and would have needed to go via one of the London airports or Dublin to get to the US. What could have affected Kristen, though, is the disruption there was at Heathrow before the weekend.Simon Briggs tweeted 4 hours ago they know the luggage is still in Dublin. I´m guessing the luggage didn´t go with the transit, maybe the layover was too short? I know that happens sometimes. In those cases, the luggage usually comes later, but it sometimes take a while. But hopefully they can speed up the process given the circumstances.
All though a horrible situation, I think it´s a good sign they know where the luggage is located. It´s a good thing they arrived early, there are still 3 days until the SP starts, so there is time. Hopefully they can get it sometimes tomorrow and will not miss too much practice time.
I´m wondering if Kristen Spours might be affected by this as well. She isn´t coached by Briggs, but the British team might have been booked on the same flight? I guess it depends if they did the same transfer or not. Spours might have come from someplace else.
Thanks for clarifying. Good to hear Kristen is flying from somewhere else. Hopefully there is no more lost luggages. I didn´t realize they trained in Scotland. I thought they did a transit in Dublin where the luggage got lost (thinking about it, it doesn´t make sense though). I guess that means if they lost the luggage at Dublin airport it didn´t even make it to the transit?? Oh that is bad really. How could they mess up with the bags so badly it didn´t even leave the first destination?Kristen lives the opposite end of the UK. That means they would need to get the bags out of Dublin and then if there is no direct flights they would rely on the bags not getting lost during the transit as well. Yikes. Hopefully there is someone that can make this high priority
And Simon Briggs wrote 4 hours ago that they know the suitcases is still located in Dublin which means nothing has happen with the luggages for half a day.Heathrow airport was closed all day on Friday. It had a major knock-on effect on other UK and European airports. Any planes which were already in the air had to be diverted to other airports. It probably created chaos with baggage as well as with flights. Thanks for clarifying. Good to hear Kristen is flying from somewhere else. Hopefully there is no more lost luggages.
