What a lovely invitation! Alas, allergic to alcohol, otherwise a bottle of Italian red (or two ) would be at my side…
Always was admiring how you guys can watch and leave /read comments at the same time I am afraid I am not good enough at multitasking ! I watch first and afterwards read every bit of comp thread and enjoy it nearly as much as the competition itself

In fairness, I watch on my laptop, on the CBC website, and GS is on a different browser on the same computer so I'd have to keep leaping back and forth and logging in and out every few moments. I wait for the resurfacing breaks and come here to read the comments during that time out.

Will they let you in even after an event has been underway for an hour or two?

Yes! I have done this at previous World Championships! (I recall taking a walk through Saitama in 2023 on the day of the rhythm dance and arriving there about an hour late.) Just be sure to not go to your seat while a skater is performing! Wait until after they have finished performing to go to your seat! (There will be TV screens in the lobby of the arena, so you can see exactly what's happening on the ice.)

Yes. I screwed up my times in real life in 2016 and arrived to men as Grant Hochstein was skating.

Rule 520 in the 2024 Special Regulations and Technical Rules has 20 teams advancing for Worlds only still, I'm hoping that's a mistake on the ISU's part for the results page.

I believe Jean Luc said 20 advanced. But I could be wrong.

Worlds 2025 Merchandise— hey guys, it sure if this is the right thread so I’m going to post this question in two places (please don’t be mad!). I will arrive in Boston on Thursday and am yet to purchase merch. I really want the large canvas tote bag and I will use it as my bag allowance for the event. Does anyone know the dimensions? I can’t find them posted anywhere. Now, I won’t need to worry about this at all if it isn’t sold in person, can anyone let me know if they’ve seen it sold at the stadium/possibly at the hotel merch table(according to the runthrough? Seems like there will be a merch table at Marriott Copley?) Really appreciate it!!! Enjoy your week, everyone!

It has been changed to 20 on the results page now. @dorispulaski when you get a moment, could you edit your post at the start of the Pairs SP thread? (I know that you are really busy at the moment...!).

Apparently there are quite a few good coffee shops right outside TD Gardens, and the food inside the arena is rumoured to be quite excellent as well (at least based off of the offerings).

In Allen, no coffee was on the menu board, but they did have it at some places in the arena. So if you don't see it listed and the lines permit, ask. If they say no, ask where you can get it.

I had to have some one evening to prevent falling asleep at my seat, and I got it!

At the same time, the level of venues/event for worlds is MUCH higher so there is usually better offerings than GP/Nationals/CHallengers. From what I have seen anyway.

You absolutely cannot. They keep a big trash can and what ever you have goes in there including water.

Michelle and I were sitting around because we didn’t feel like waiting in line and so many people gave us delicious food so they didn’t have to throw it out.
