2025 Worlds: Info and pre-game chat

I saw (on TV) someone in the audience give a stuffed lobster to one of the skaters, so the fan must have bought it somewhere?
I was hoping to find a lobster among the merch but alas, none there.
I heard about stuffed lobsters being sold at local CVS drugstores, perhaps you could find one there?

Anyone have any tips for getting out of the arena in a timely manner? Probably a stupid question, but man was it a circus trying to get a ride out of there last night. The hotels with the shuttles would take me too far from where I'm staying (cambridge) to make getting an Uber from there worth it. Would i have better luck walking a couple blocks away and then calling a ride?

Yes, and the price will likely be cheaper as well. I'd highly recommend going away from the arena before calling an Uber/taxi/Lyft.

Don't know how you feel about taking the subway, but it's fast, easy, safe. $2.40 a ride. I bought a 7 day unlimited pass.

If I wasn't alone then I'd consider it but out of safety I think I'll pass on this option.

My fiancé is hiding them around the venue.
There was a video of skaters going to Fanueil (sp?) Hall and Madi and Evan had lobster hats.
He also was wearing merch and he’s so small the sleeves just swallowed his hands.
We are going to be like Jack Sprat and his wife.

Okay, I've missed something... Is a lobster the logo for this year's world championships?
The lobster stuff is just because of how important lobster fishing is to New England as a whole, especially Maine and Massachusetts.

It does always amuse me that the quintessential lobster stuffed animal is red since that is a lobster when it's cooked.

Thanks. :) That was the info I needed to make sense of why people were talking about lobsters.

Has anyone heard how Allison Reed is doing...she looked to be in pain after the freak fall that she took in the RD?

OT: Before the Boston Terrier conversation goes away…
The most common color pattern in the breed is black and white
BUT
There is a “red” variety; my BIL owns one of these, named Mikey. He is deaf and we speculate this may coordinate genetically with the unusual color pattern.
Pictures below are the most common b&w and the red.. the puppies are adorable but grow into very powerful aggressive small dogs

Speaking of Boston Terriers, my next door neighbor 20 years ago owned a black and white female Boston Terrier named Dolly. As with all terriers, they have the spirit of a larger dog inside of them, but Dolly was truly affectionate towards both me and my neighbor. Both Dolly and my former neighbor have long since passed away, but Dolly will remain in my heart. She gave me a very positive impression of Boston Terriers in general and I wouldn't mind owning one someday. :)

🥰 lovely story.. perfect name for a little girl
They are very loyal to their “human” and all those in their circle but fierce and protective. My BIL is wheelchair bound and his wife, my sister, and I got puppy Mikey as a gift.. they are a bonded pair. When the 3-year old granddaughter visits however, Mikey is out of bounds. Their small size belies the fierce spirit so small children beware..💛

Does anyone know if Exhibition will be available streaming in US?

Have a ticket but it’s been a rough morning.
