A lot were thrown for the pairs as well. But many of them went into the no-man's-land between the seats and the rink.

At Canadian Nationals, people were throwing stuffies from the balcony, and some of them had to be relayed on by people on the main floor.

Because I find Eleanor Rigby depressing. It moves me to tears, and not in a good way.

I can understand that. As I age I appreciate that the song asks me to look for the lonely ones and not let them fall into the shadows. They have seen a lot and have a lot to tell...

Oh I am liking Douglas - have not seen much of him. His technique is very neat and clean and his skating is pleasant and smooth. He shows nice musicality and is pretty speedy. Love the Seasons music for him.

That happens at US Nationals also. Sometimes the people they land on throw them down and sometimes they keep them

Hyungyeom KIM KOR has a lot of power and a very clean quad. His skating is big enough for Lawrence of Arabia. He has great posture - his back is so straight. Sometimes the guys wear the billowy shirts to hide a hunched back - his is so straight and crisp. A few mistakes but a very powerful skate.

Good one by Hyungyeom, just as big and determined as the music demands. Some of his jumps were a bit wild, I already saw him down on that 3A. But he pulled through.
