Great job- especially going for the triple triple for the first time! She did skate a little more subdued here than at nationals, and had a tiny stumble in the step sequence, but overall, what an excellent debut at an international event of this caliber. She should be super proud, and I hope that is the performance that kind of breaks things open for her and gives her the confidence to skate like this more often in the future!

It's Okay ... Fée Ann has huge jumps and it's been difficult for her to get a 3-3 ... so even with the carrot, we will take it

However, 57 for this is a little low IMHO

57.92 - a bit lower than I was expecting, but she looks absolutely thrilled, knowing that she just threw down a clean skate, probably the best she's ever done. Wow, that must be so rewarding!

and think about it, Fée Ann was only 7th at Nationals.

I just know that there is a little more pizzazz and spunk inside of Landry. I think she undersold that program, and I'm not really sure it showed off her skating skills- or maybe it's just the fact that it came after daleman, or even just the fact that this is a bigger arena, etc. Either way, I suspect we're going to see good things next year!

Canadian women's skating has come a long way that's for sure. It was also probably the best I've ever seen her skate when she got that seventh place, so it really shows what a strong field it was.

Isaacs will be given a warning for her mesh. It's totally the wrong color (way too yellow) but in mitigation it mostly borders her dress, rather than her skin.
