I don't get the GOEs they are given for the lifts. She's doing great but his footwork is so much weaker than many other teams we already saw.
I would have them behind Lia and Trennt for the free.

Wow Canada is going home with a surprise medal in pairs! Honestly I have always liked Lia and Trennt. I do not find they are overly technically unique or superior or charismatic but they got the job done. Like Deanna and Max have the age story, the grit and some real fight, the Japanese olympic champs are not the level of Shen and Zhou or G and G but had some chemistry likewsie duhamel and radford had grit and tech difficulty. Trennt and Lia are pretty perfunctory but pretty good perfunctory (Us and canadian pairs are kind of like that right now well actually all of these teams are pretty good but not overly special for lack of words so good on Canada

Wow, you just cannot give Canada a break, can you? It's getting tiresome!

The first half of the M/B program is so impressive. The twist and the jumps are world class. But then those elements get rocky. The fall, a weak death spiral, meh spins, etc.

I thnk that might be enough to beat Canada though. Still so proud of the Canadians. They didnt crumble this this time.

Nastya is wearing a blue (?) coloured dress. Luka wearing a matching shirt, with black trousers.

Such a pity about that fall, because the rest of it was so good.

Nastya has a lie down on the ice after they finished. That really took it out of her.

They're being kept waiting a very long time. That's never a good sign.

Extra waves from the guys to ease the nerves.

They go into 3rd position in the FS, and the lead overall.

No reaction at all.

Good for the judges to not throw a huge score at the Georgians' program.

Even I could see that death spiral was weak. Dude Surely they can do a better one? Any way, I liked the program otherwise.
