The bald guy talking now? He has an outsized voice (amount of time talking and expressing his opinion) compared to anyone else and I don't get that luxury being given to him.

Proposal 188 (eliminate bringing back the qualifying round) - Austria gets a proposal accepted!

Urgent Proposals 17 and 18 (continue to have 20 pairs advance to the free skate) have become invalid due to this since the change in pairs was part of it.

He has a title but that doesn't tell me why he's the one doing all that talking. His words affect the attendees not unlike a prosecuting attorney on a jury. I have a problem with this guy.

Please, can they make up their minds, they literally only accepted the qualifying rounds proposal 2 years ago

Does that mean there isn't a qualifying round at 2025 Worlds? It's supposed to be Sunday/Monday.

There's no rule for it now, so there shouldn't be a qualifying round from what I understand, no. Pretty sure they did not think this through

Well, the US representative was in favour of the proposal and his comment came down to "we would be extremely happy if we didn't have to do the qualifying round in Boston". So I guess they are fine with it.

I always disliked the QR ... so i am good that it was rejected... but why waste time on this every other year ?

I don't know, I'm not sure it was part of the proposal. They'll have to adjust it.

Proposal 199 (minimum age for judges at 21)- Norway wants to keep at 24 and amended it. Norway's amendment is accepted and it passes.
