Plushy writes a highly fabricated skating history book in which he states that he has won every Winter Olympics ever held, skating singles plus pairs with Liza and dance with Elena I., and they have swept gold at every event in every discipline.
Liza is thrilled, Elena is not amused, Ruslan is murderous, and the ISU and IOC ban him from international competition for false advertising until a mob of rabid fangirls, led by Liza, forces them to revoke the ban.
The ISU bans partner splits.
Adelina, distraught at her lack of support by skating fans, begins keeping a diary. When she leaves it at the rink, Elena R. gets her hands on it, and with the help of their coach, gets it published. This spawns a sitcom in which Adelina and Yu-Na play the leaders of rival high school cliques, which gains critical acclaim soon surpasses Monday Night Football to become the most-watched TV show in the world.
The ISU starts awarding automatic PCS bonuses to pairs and dance teams that increase with every year they manage to stay together. This almost instantaneously stops partner splits.
Yulia goes through a freak growth spurt and loses her flexibility but gets amazingly high, consistent jumps.
For reasons unknown, a quad flip is never landed, even in the days of 5As.

Adelina wins gold in South Korea! Now that would be pretty epic!
ITA. Pretty shocking, too. :shocked:
What about this? South Korea holds a world championship and gets to hold a GP event, replacing COC or NHK. Then there will be a big fight. The ISU bans all three countries from holding a GP event. When another event is held in one of these countries, the other countries involved would prohibit their skaters from going there.
