Where is the starting order??? Do you have a link? The listing from the event site still doesn't show the SO for Mens SP

Yes, Stephane couldn't be the reason he withdrew, they knew all along Koshiro was Vancouver bound, and like username0507 pointed out, there are other staff who could accompany him to Zagreb. I just hope it was a case of some mild flu, stomach bug (too much cake?) or something of the sort.

Not sure where that poster got it, but here’s a picture. Deniss is listed as going second in the final group (22nd over all)
OMG, what a mess. No official starting order. The original entry list consists of 27 skaters. The new entry list - of 26, no Deniss. The starting order from Misha fans fb also consists of 26 skaters, with Deniss. So who is missing this time?
I think we have to wait till the official starting order is announced.
Fingers crossed Deniss is healthy and in good shape (and mood).

That image looks like one of those flyers which get posted in the rink. But no official updates from anywhere imaginable. But I would think either Chris Trevisan or Deniss would have published something if they decided not to participate, and there is no news from them either, so I would like to think positive. Isn't there any report from anyone present who can tell whether he is on location and practicing??? I really hope we will know something (and something positive!) in the morning!!!

Not the best news as IdF was two weeks ago, so it wasn't just a cold what Deniss suffered of.
Luckily it's just a challenger, not a big competition.
Hope to see Deniss in great shape soon.

Get well soon Deniss! I'm glad that Chris posted an explanation, so we don't have to speculate. Europeans are the priority, so hopefully he recovers quickly.

If the rest of his schedule goes as planned he will have a few more times on the ice (shows) before Euros and maybe a comp somewhere in between there. This sickness has really put a kink in his season when he was hoping to show the quads in his programs with some music he really liked.hwell: Edit: with being sick at idf, then him withdrawing from this weekend with recovering.

Max Trankov shared a "family photo" of the skaters taking part in Christmas on Ice.
Deniss performed the "Iron" (I was wondering if he would perform it as it's not very merry christmas program...) and another one with three Japanese skaters (Nobunari Oda among them).
And got beautiful flowers from his fans :luv17:.
ETA: more flowers. And Deniss autographing (?) after the show.
ETA 2: Meryl Davis' video from the last show ending. Many Latvian flags and Deniss in the middle of a discussion while everybody just take selfies
And two proofs he looks good in white: 1., 2.
