Deniss Vasiljevs

12th place with 18th SB is well-balanced expectation as Deniss proved he can deliver even in the most important competitions. 7th would be possible only with the biggest splatfest ever, however :cool:
I am happy they concentrate on good mood (approach is essential) and quality of his performances. Hope what he will remember after his first OG are only positive feelings.
 
I am so glad that they are not rushing on the quads. Making sure that he makes a steady progress without sustaining serious injury is the utmost importance. The longevity of those who mastered the quads at later stage (Javi, Bychenko, Voronov) and the fact that they remained relatively healthy and consistent, I believe it will be the key to the long term success. And I am fairly sure that some sort of change in the rules/trend will follow regarding the current quad madness. Kudos to their wisdom! :agree:
 
They interviewed Stephane and 2 other people. He talked about his Olympic experience, Deniss and Diana. About Deniss, he couldn't sleep the first day so he walked around the village. After that, Stephane and Deniss had a discussion. About Diana, Stephane says that she's a natural jumper and she has been working hard on the choreography, skating and spins.

I wish them all the best, I really do wish they reach the top together, they're such an amazing team :pray:

Oh goodie, he brought back the -2t-2lo! That should mean no solo 3T, so his BV is a bit higher. Hmm, I wonder what layout they're planning, with both 3A3T and 3Lz3T in practice. Or maybe it's a backup plan. :think:

Steph said they planned to make Diana's tech more difficult, so maybe the plan is that she will do 3Lz3Lo instead of 3Lz3T :O

:thank: for the translation! Welcome and post often! :) Jackie was also complaining about the wind but really there were very severe gales today, the Olympic park had to be closed and more events got cancelled :(
