I really enjoyed his SP yesterday. I did not even notice UR. I actually didn't get why he had level 3 in step sequence. He'll perfect the performance and is going to have a great program!

What was it today? For the third time he does not show his fantastic program in full brilliance!? Was it the first popped quad? The jumps seemed to make him nervous. Maybe no quads for him!
With all this I do not want to say that I don’t consider Deniss to be a briliant skater, but I want him (and he does, too) to be on the podium, but without perfect triples it won’t happen ever!
It is true, silverfoxes, that American and Japan figure skaters are surrounded by big supporting teams with not only coaches but also psychologists etc. Russia provides a huge state support because it’s historically a prestige sport there. Deniss doesn't have so much support and he is not always on a level playing field.
What was it at the boards at the end of the program?
I feel a little bit sorry for Stephane, he looked disappointed. But as he said, "It’s life"...
Anyway, I’m sure that at Euros and Worlds we will see great programs!:luv17:
(Did you notice that Deniss's body has become very masculine?)

Yesterday when I sneakily checked the results I was relieved he scored +220 in total. We know he's capable of much more but at least it's a marked improvement from NHK. To put things in perspective, Matteo medalled at a GP with a score only slightly better than that. Anyway, hopefully they'll both improve as the season progresses
Can't wait to read the interview.
