ESPN and European Championships

I am disgusted with broadcast of 2004 European Championships on ESPN.

I was really looking forward to seeing the Pairs and Ice Dance competition. They aired two showing of the championships today. Guess what? The second broadcast was a repeat of the earlier broadcast today which showed the mens and ladies competition. WTH?

When, when will get any real, quality figure skating coverage in this country? I hope Eurosport signs an agreement with some US cable or satelite company soon.

Topaz, I couldn' t agree with you more. Let's see, there was the afternoon and evening of the same competition and if I am not mistaken, it will be shown again Saturday evening. I don't understand why they chose to show this comp 3 times. Why didn't they show the Grand Prix when we got the danger alert and missed Evgeni's skate.

Oh, I forgot they also did a rerun of 4 Continents on Tuesday.
