Anyone actually getting to watch it ?

Eurosport, TRT3 (it's broadcasting but the feed is impossible) so far, so nothing for me...

I'm watching the TRT3, the sound was acting up a bit at first but headphones fixed that problem. The quality is actually really good now.. Don't think I know enough about figure skating to be of any help though.. sorry :)

The final group is just about to start now..

the feed just keeps stopping...

mins is still working fine..

he stepped out on the first jump and fell on the second in the jump sequence.
the landing on the second throw also looked a bit weird. Otherwise everything looked fine to my untrained eye :)

The English Eurosport audio only channel isn't carrying figure skating. I'm at work and don't want to try the Turkish channel (I don't want to risk anything). I'm only going off the ISU scores, and noone has been clean.

The other pairs are really trying to give the titel to the Germans for free. Murkhatova/Trankov messed up the throws, Sminov/Kamaguchi the sbs jumps. :frown:

It just seems like a disaster. Except for the Croatian pair, everyone has fallen. Could any of those deductions be for time? I am only going by the scores. If those are all falls, pairs really is in a sorry shape. :frown: I hope US Nats pairs will be better.

The Germans are gonna win this easy. I hope Worlds is as easy a win for them! what a talented pair... i never tire of watching them skate. THanks for the update!

I really like the ukraanians, but he popped the second jump and didnt get her up in the last lift. I hope they'll beat the russians...

4th for the ukrainians. He left the kiss and cry as soon as the results came up..

I know it's harsh but she definately needs to find a better partner. She is brilliant but he is definately not at the same level.

Do S/S's throws get +2 or +3 GOE? They are sooo good! But they should stop doing that stupid 3 Salchow, they managed it once during this season.

Holy crap!

Way to go Aliona and Robin!:rock:That is how you do it. Look at that score! Look at that difference!!!

Glad that Kawaguchi / Smirnov got Bronze, they earned it. I think they did the Quad - not sure though, I don't understand Turkish.

Aliona and Robin in a class of their own.
K&S did do the quad but the SBS jumps were a mess and were just sloppy overall.
M&T started very strong, but later messed up their throws and the mistakes made them lose spark.
I feel so bad for V/M. They were doing well until the lift. Morozov just walked of the kiss and cry and left Tatiana alone.

I really like the ukraanians, but he popped the second jump and didnt get her up in the last lift. I hope they'll beat the russians...
Well, dumping Morozov certainly worked for Savchenko!
OTOH, searching for a new partner is always tricky, so it's hard to tell who things would go for Volosozhar with someone else.

Anyway, I'm glad K&S medaled, but I wished they achieved this by skating well, not by outskating others in an essential splatfest.

I wanted to add an honorable mention for Zanforlin/Degli Esposti, the roller skating world champs turned pair skaters! Their edging isn't good due to their roller skating background, but their performance quality and experience are evident! They landed a throw triple loop and a throw triple salchow. Unfortunately they had low level elements that kept their TES low, but for people who hadn't stepped on the ice until less than a year ago, they were extremely impressive. Kudos to them for finishing in the top ten and as the top Italian team!
