What my automatic instagram translation says what she‘s written in the caption: In these pictures are shown part of our souls and part of our lives. Released yet kept with us.
But I translated the automatic Instagram translation from German to English so it‘s probably not accurate at all lol. If someone knows Russian, please tell.
I‘ll keep my thoughts to myself about these pictures, the timing and the intention. I think everyone can make up their own mind on that.
Accurate enough, actually! I'd translate it as: "We put parts of our souls and parts of our lives in these programs. We let go, but are keeping them with us"
It's orthodox Christmas, btw, so I think that's played a part in the timing. Apart from that... I too have thoughts, but this is Zhenya's thread and not Eteri's. Anyway, I hope the public display of forgiveness does something to finally quench the drama flames.

I will try my best and keep to the thought of it being the nice, peaceful Christmas time and them having made up and finally moved on. Regardless of what it really means, this is the best scenario. And the fact that Zhenya liked it is good, I think.

Your translation is quite close to the original. I would specify that it is not just about the programs, but about what the athletes wanted to show in the program as artists.

Yeah, you're right, I took the easy way out
I find "образ" is one of the harder words to translate properly, since there's really no proper equivalent in English. The literal translation would be "image", but what it means is a mental image in an artistic sense. The character or the feeling the skater expresses on the ice through their program, in this case. Should have added that as a note to my original translation...

It is a very appropriate gesture from the Head of Training Staff to start off the new year with well wishes to her former and current charges. She owes many personal triumphs to the athletes she has worked with.
Hopefully there will be some photos with some skaters receiving their Christmas blessings on their social media later. Not all of them are religious and it is a very private moment.
Often the whole training team attend a service together.
Having faith in Christ the Saviour will no doubt help the religious through difficult moments in their career, finding strength and inner peace and forgiveness.
Tomorrow I am back to work, no more frequent postings for a while. The weeks since Russian Nationals have been quite exciting.

It might have to do with it being Christmas in Russia today or maybe Eteri just wants to thaw the ice. Zhenya liked as did Yulia. Merry Christmas from Eteri to her former students.

I wish they could integrate the Rippon on some of Zhenya‘s jumps again. Probably not now as she‘s busy with changing technique but once she‘s comfortable with the new way of jumping it like to see them again. They are just beautiful.

It passed the smell test with Zhenya. She liked it and what her former coach of 11 years wrote. Yulia too. It is what it is and it's a step in the right direction even if it's only a small step.

Well, for Zhenya's sake I hope there is civility between her & her last coach. But even beyond that, her last coach owes Zhenya a public apology. A simple post may be nice, but really doesn't mean much considering the scale of what she did to Zhenya.
