Evgenia Medvedeva

So, I think the ultimate plan is to include 4Salchow and then 3Lz-3Lo in her Free Skate for Beijing (2022).

Not having 3Lz-3Lo is the only reason she lost Olympic Gold to Zagitova (my opinion) and with 4S or 4T she will be able to match Trusova and other Quad jumpers who will arrive in the next 3 years.

I don't think we should be expecting 3Lz-3Lo :)

I am not expecting it but it may be possible. She has been practicing them. If she can correct her edge more why not! Minus her edge, and considering the other qualities that make a jump good, I actually thing her lutz is better than her flip now.

Q: How to leave those hater shooketh?
A: Do a 3Lutz with deep, outside edge entry in the next season.

I trust you, Evgenia. She doesn't need any quad to be #1, she just needs spending time perfecting all the jumps, practising 3 Axel maybe, and everything will be all right.
I miss her Biellmann and 3S3T so much but staying healthy is the 1st priority right now.

Actually, I think 4sal would be much more achievable than 3A.

I was thinking maybe her Loop is ripe for a quad, but I understand that practicing/jumping a 4Lo is quite dangerous.

4 sal is the way to go.

Yes, I think she needs an ultra-c element, 4S more likely. And by the way things have been going this past year, this can also give her higher component marks

Also the idea of a 4T is not bad. They say that 4S and 4T are similar so if she gets one, the other would be easier to learn.
I see 3A more difficult to get. Maybe they'll wait until next season to see if she makes more progress on her 2A.

I have a strong feeling she will try to open Memoirs of a Geisha with 4S, but it will be a very hard july/august practice season (I remember Brian saying how Yuzu started working on July 1st and was completely ready for Olympics by September but then got injured)

Quick question - do you think she will do ACI again this year? Does Yuzu always do ACI?
