I'd seen some of Oksana's childhood photos before, but not the one of her with the white bow in her hair. If they had a "which skater was the cutest kid" contest, Oksana would definitely be a top contender.

By the way, just noticed that Oksana has just updated her official website with some GORGEOUS backstage pics of her at Ice Wars & Katarina Witt Special. Love the ones of her hanging out with Lulu, Nicole, Maria, et al. And especially love the antique gold dress that she wore last at the Celebration of Gold Special in November of 2001. But what really caught my eye is the photo of her with, I think, her old coach Valentin - take a look at that brand new Swan Lake costume - LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!!!! Thanks for letting us know about the new pics on Oksana's site. She really looks like she's having a good time. I was also pleased to see that Lu Chen and Maria Butyrskaya will also be appearing in Katarina's special-- neither one of them has been on TV so far this season and I miss them.

I looked for the People article yesterday, but they were still selling last week's issue. I'll have to check again.
