Gracie Gold

^

I'm not a fan of these music choices, either. I was very disappointed when I learned of the picks. I'd really hoped that Gracie would have selected more modern music, maybe even music she's currently listening to on her phone or something.

Regardless, I'm sure any music could work if done well. As you said above, I'm also not sure what to think about this.

I really hope Gracie doesn't set a foot wrong in this coming season. I really want her to make it to Olympics.

I was watching the old Gracie Vids from Nationals, and before I had been thinking that Canadians had surpassed her and she wouldn't be able to catch up. But having seen the 2016 Nationals, I still can't help but think that Gracie could still challenge the likes of Russians and Canadians if she could just get it together, and perhaps dump either the flip from her SP or just dump the steps that precede to it, and make it more easier for margin. Oh, if only one could send telepathic thoughts, she'd have dropped the flip long ago from telepathic bombardment. :slink:

I was watching the 2013 and 2014 Nationals FS and was just about in tears! That 3Lz-3T combination of hers was a thing of beauty. I want to see that again! I still have high hopes. I thought it seemed that she looked fit in the last photo we saw of her (see above). GO GRACIE!

Not just 3Lz-3T. Even her 3F that vexes many people with the edge entry, including myself, has such good flow. Personally, while most have been worried about her physical state of things right now (especially with the statements), I'm still wondering what her mental state is in. At this moment, I just hope she can enjoy the skating, and with that I hope her success will come with it.

Belated Happy Birthday to Gracie! :hb:

Here's my sincere wish that Gracie will have a good and injury-free season. :hap10:
I know it's going to be a very tough season for any skaters because of the approaching Oly Games, but hopefully she will enjoy every moments day in and day out full of happiness , guffaws , excitement  and adventures :yahoo: that is so natural life for any 22yo girl in the world as I recall my old days as a girl about her age. ;)

Copying my post over from the Champs Camp thread.

As promised earlier in the thread: Here's my first part of the report on Gracie at Sun Valley.

Pro practice and show practice has been over for about a half hour now. From what I could see when I wasn't busy, she mostly ran choreography (which looked like she was having a hard time remembering), and practiced spins. She mostly did single jumps, waltz jumps and one or two badly UR doubles.

She wore all black with a oversized sweatshirt for 99% of the practice.

Will try to report later after the show.
