When Gracie withdrew from her GPs, she had thanked sponsors for their support (without mentioning any by name).
Nice to see concrete acknowledgment from Smucker's that they continue to partner with Gracie .

I am very sad that Gracie will not be competing for the rest of the season. I SO admire her for 2 reasons: 1) Taking care of herself and addressing her problems like a mature adult 2) Giving the USFSA and the skaters enough prior notice to adequately prepare for the coming Nationals - no games or second guessing. You're a champion, Gracie!

No surprise there. She said she didnt want to skate past 22...Shes 22 now. I had a feeling i wouldnt see her this season.

I was just watching some of her old programs. She used to look so happy.

Im glad shes doing whats best for her.

She was with her sister in CA over the weekend. Beyond that no idea. She is still undergoing treatment I'm pretty sure.

If I remember correctly, Gracie's twitter account used to list her skating accomplishments. Changed to: "Just a girl running on caffeine, sarcasm, and inappropriate thoughts"

She's been pretty active on Twitter and unfortunately it appears she has been harassed by someone online.

Same. No more of act of perfect ice princess. Someone said on twitter that she really likes this new Gracie, and she replies saying that she does as well. That’s a positive thing.

At this point in time, nobody knows if Gracie will compete. She is focused on her health right now and if she decides to return, I'm sure she'll announce it when she's ready.

You can be snarky and still make positive strides in your mental health. I doubt this is a 'new' Gracie and probably just the one she has always been. Perhaps now she feels she can finally shuck the ice princess veneer US Fed tried so desperately to give her a be a version closer to herself online.

She probably needed to see if she feels that desire to skate again, after what she went through. Pleased to see she does, especially after showing that she’s not the air-headed ice princess the fed wanted her to be. I honestly like her just being herself. If she comes back to competition, it should reflect on her skating and be awesome to watch.
