That's not how the ISP works unfortunately. It's just a pool of athlete's that have met some kind of criteria. They almost always have to show readiness, whether that is a competition or monitoring or whatever. Gracie doesn't tell us anything on her social media, we have no idea if she is being monitored, or has an injury, or has just decided to not compete this year. I truly don't think this has anything to do with USFS.
Now, if she was going to competitions, and placing well, similar to Hannah Herrera, Sonja Hilmer, etc and not being assigned to Internationals, that would be one thing. But, we haven't even seen practice clips. She hasn't been on any of the starting orders for any of the NQS competitions, we truly have no idea what her plans are.
For what it's worth, a few months ago I was told by someone that she was "training." They said it exactly like that. That could mean training to participate in shows, or to make she is able to demonstrate at her seminars, or to compete. They had no further information and I haven't heard anything since. I know on another message board they mentioned that she was a coach at the Development Camp that was held in conjunction with Champs Camp.
If she doesn't show up at one of the NQS competitions in two weeks, I think we can pretty much figure out that her season is done. She doesn't meet any of the criteria to get a bye anywhere (even if we would like her to get one). I know this is a fan thread, but I also try to keep it real. I Do I wish she would give us some info, absolutely! But either way, I hope she is happy and healthy and thriving!
