Kim's representatives end Orser's coaching relationship threads merged

If you think, that I write too much and I'm obsessive, aggressive, persistent and boring, you should say me that clearly :) Otherwise I won't understand.

I'm sorry if I'm too serious about this. I just want to get things clear. For myself, at least.

Thank you.

You know, this is a hard subject. I am fan of Yuna, but I am not a fan of her mother. In the terms, that I respect her, of course, but I don't feel, that she did everything right. Since I became fan of Yuna, I wanted to figure out if Ms Park has any negative influence to Yuna and what is her role in all this. A long time ago there was an article who painted her as typical obsessive mother who knows better what is good for her daughter than anyone else. So I was observing this slowly and I came to think that she is not that obsessive, cruel mother. It's true that sometimes she was very hard to her daughter (like the famous 100 laps episode), but no more than some normal parents would do. Yuna was on the edge of retiring before, but it was not her mother who was convincing her to stay. So I think, that the main ambition of Ms Park is just her daughter's well being. Of course, I don't know what she wants to achieve with ATS. If she wants to be manager now not only for Yuna, but for other skaters. But I really don't think that her influence on Yuna is more significant, than the influence of the mother for most people.
When first interviews with Brian came out, I was afraid that this point of view can be wrong, because I believed Brian and I though "Oh no, so her mother really controls Yuna!". But later I returned to this point of view. There is no any evidence that it's false besides this Brian's statements. And he may not be objective because of the circumstances. Sometimes when people break up, they tend to believe that it was because of parents, or bad friends, or something. It's, maybe, normal in some way.

You must be kidding. I read every single word of yours. Because I want to know everything why you love Yuna so much...
As I said...I use one finger...If I can type like my daughter...I would write 10 times more than you...about Yuna.

We should change the topic to what Yuna should do from here on out...

#1. FIRE THE TRANSLATOR.
#2. FIRE THE PR people at ATS.
#3. Mom "retires" from agent position and takes up the position of consultant (might make it happen easier).
#4. Get NEW Agent, NEW translator, NEW PR.
#5. NEW coach. I bet there are TONS of coaches who would like to work with her. Although right now the hottest coach in FS right now is Brian Orser because of Yuna.
My point was, that we should give less advices, no more. "hottest coach", lol.

Well, anyway:
1. Don't fire Ms Choi, just have her for things like making coffee and stuff.
2. Firing the PR people would be nice, but they don't have any besides Ms Choi (most likely). So just hire some.
3. Mother makes Yuna the owner of the company. I don't why, but I have a feeling, that it will be better.
4. Get an agent, a translator and a new PR. Even if they want some fans, there are plenty of them who are great in this.
5. Go to Brian, have a long private chat, reconcile and tell everyone that it was a joke. Everyone is like "OMGWTFFFSROGFLMAO!!!111".

I like #5

They will never reconcile.
Brian is too proud man and Yuna must be really hurt emotionally.
It'll be a lot more likely...Yuna and Mao become...REAL friends.

It really concerns me if I write too much. I write a lot, not because I want to write a lot, it is simply because I don't know English, so I can't express myself shortly in this language. It is also a permanent wonder for me if people get what I write.
Fortunately, I program a lot and that implies massive typing, so I type relatively fast.

If you are serious about your problem, maybe you can try some voice recognition software? A friend of mine is a big enthusiast of it and he says that it really helps a lot and makes things easier. I still can't understand, however, how he can write a code with it.

We will see. Sometimes people can reconcile after horrible divorces. I realise how unlikely it is to happen, but I still have a hope. Maybe I'm an idiot.
As for Mao and Yuna... Aren't they friends? :) They seem very respectful to each other and I think there is nothing bad between them, besides journalists. When Mao was asked if they were friends (Mao, Miki Ando and Yuna) after Worlds 2010 Mao responded with a somehow embarrassed nod and all 3 started to laugh. It was very cute.
Maybe they'll be real friends if their respective countries will allow them.

Yuna and Mao may actually really become friends. They used to be sort of skate buddies until their success, competitive drive, and nations got between them. Kind of a sad story. Would have been an amazing story if they had remained close friends in some secret way even though their nations ramped up they rivalry hype.

Brian is proud? Well, he's not someone that lets people walk all over him but he's also not some "Lo behold, ye who have sinned against me I shall never forgive you." Maybe going overboard just a bit  Yuna is probably really hurt but I think they can recover from this if they really wanted to. I'm FAIRLY certain neither wanted this kind of split or were exactly on bad terms. Like they said, things were "uncomfortable."

910 replies! LOL 100 of them are mine. 90% were useless like this one too. 10% were news links and updates. I'm sort of losing interest in this topic though. Back to the skate shows, Michelle Kwan forum. Cheers. ;)

Thank you for a solution. But I'll stick to my 1 finger typing. You must be a young guy...to know much about computer.
My age is same as Tom Watson...the golfer who won 5 times...THE OPEN...My most favorite golfer of all time.

I believe...there was NO OFFER whatsoever from Mao...Orser confirmed it on CTV...he said: absolutely no offer from Mao side.

I also heard that it was just a rumor that Korean media started w/o evidence. Mao was pretty upset about it.

I just hope Yu-na gets a better PR agent.

Yu-na should hire Michelle Kwan to be her new coach.

YES. This. Well, not really. Coach/Pupil relationship might ruin their friendship. Coaches push their skaters. They need more push than friends do.

I just wanted to say I'm impressed Brian waited 3 weeks because he thought Yuna would change her mother/ ATS mind. He obviously did NOT think there was a personal rift between Yuna and himself. That's a LOT of faith, trust, and loyalty. And I think Yuna should remember that and reach out to him again one day and make peace. This should convince her of his devotion/ trust/ and faith in Yuna if anything.

As for Brian, I hope he learns from this so he keeps his mouth shut like Tracy Wilson/ David Wilson did. So what if the media speculates or doesn't know. It doesn't have to know. We don't have to know. Open ended question. So what. People wouldn't have believed ATS ANYWAYS.

Here's to the 2 making peace soon.

Yuna did not know about it until Orser sent to copy of the email to Hershey.
It was just a rumor ...Orser alleges heard somewhere...without saying...the source.

Speaking of conspiracy theories, has anyone considered the possibility that Yu-na, Brian and Mrs. Park cooked up this charade among themselves, just to keep all of their names in the spotlight and to stir up interest for Yu-na's coming show?

Not necessarily :) Some of the teachers I have are old, but they know so many things, it's incredible. But you're right, I'm young.

wow... Then I understand.

Regarding your question about Yuna... She just makes me happy when I watch her. Especially when she skates. It is surrealistically beautiful. Before I became her fan I was having a certain rule, that I will never be a fan of any celebrity, because most of then are all made up and their fans look like idiots. So when I saw Yuna and I was in awe, I spent a lot of time investigating about her and despite that I tried hard to find typical flaws in her, I didn't find any. I tried to be as objective as I could. I liked her as a skater, but she is immense as a person, as a whole being. So I broke my rule and became her fan. I think, I always try to see Yuna as she is and not like I would like to imagine her. But she often is better than my imagination is. I know, that most of the people would never believe it, so it's OK not to believe me. But she is really that good as a person in my opinion and, maybe that's why many fans of her are unbiased or less biased than other fans. A lot of fans of Yuna are as well fans of other skaters, like Mao Asada and some even prefer Mao or other skater, but they don't have any problems with other fans of Yuna. Just some hours ago some fan of Yuna wrote an incredibly extensive and protective text about Brian Orser on Yuna forum, and a lot of people agreed about being too biased to him lately (although I don't think they were biased in the first place).
Of course Yuna is not an ideal and I fully realize that I don't know her personally and she may have a lot of flaws that we don't know about, and even by what I know about her she has flaws, of course. She is a human like everyone else, but said so, I think she is really exceptional human, that are rarely seen these days. That's why I don't like tags like "fairytale existence" and so. Her life is far from being fairytale.
But I can understand that people apply to her their typical, provided from experience, trends. With all those celebrities we see on TV, it looks like Yuna is too good for this World as some of her fans represent her. But I also know this, and I am cautious, but I still arrived to a conclusion that she really is that good. And that's more than enough to become her fan.

And I'm glad that she made me love figure skating. I enjoy all of the skaters that are over there and always wish them to do their best. Not to fall, at least. Hate when they fall.
So it's like this, hope you'll understand :)

Surprising news!

What was most surprising to me though is that Yuna was not present at the meeting where Orser was fired. One would think she would want to be present to deliver the news and to thank the person who helped her achieve so much.

No, Yuna's mama is totally in charge of her life. What mama says goes.

Of course I understand you. I love Yuna no less than you. We share many common area why we love Yuna.
Unlike you...I was a fan of the New York Yankees but after I found Yuna...no more Yankees.

I've been following ladis figure skating for 45 years and my favorites are...
Sasha Cohen, Kristi Yamaguchi, G&G(Russian Pair) and few others.
They are beautiful skaters basically...when they perform on the ice...

Kristi is very similar in style to Yuna...beautiful choreography with excellent dancing ability.
But I like Yuna better. Sorry Kristi.
I fotgot to tell you...if it's not Yuna...I like Mao best in artistic style.
