I think that most of their mutual friends may be able to handle things better when the fighting stops. I had a horrible fight with a friend of mine at one point. We tried to heal it but there were just to many issues there. Our fighting caused both of us to put all of our friends in the middle and made a horrible situation for everyone. Finally my Campus Pastor told me that I should just let the friendship go, accept the friendship is done, and that maybe if I could accept the friendship was done, everyone could move on. So that's what I did. We just became polite aquaintances, and trust me everyone and I mean EVERYONE was thrilled that the fighting was over. Eventually it got to the point where we were kind of able to "sort of" be friends again in time and after distance.
The point is talking and trying to heal this rift may just be impossible. The best thing for everyone though is for them to stop the public fighting and give space, distance, and stop putting other people like Wilson in the middle of their feud.
Oh, sure. I wasn't referring to them ACTUALLY fixing their relationship.
I was talking more about Yuna's public image. Having a reconciliatory tone projects maturity and responsibility and it would shift a lot of sympathy towards her. I was saying it would be good for her to do so regardless of whether it was true. I'd hope it was true.
I don't think Brian needs to release a statement. He's already talked enough and he's not the one who will hurt reputation wise from this (although he probably won't ever be particularly popular in Korea anymore here on out. Unfortunately, I doubt he'll ever be a part of the professional FS show business although he probably doesn't need it.)
Edit: You know what's sad about this is I remember Orser saying he and Yuna would watch Orser's old Olympic performances and laugh over those and that it was with Yuna that Orser was first able to watch his performance again because there was so much hurt from losing that OGM.

They were obviously VERY close. Not as close as David Wilson and Yuna but not exactly a purely professional relationship as some are trying to portray it.
