Ladies LP - actual competition

Caroline's skate is sooooooooo much more mature than last year's to the same music. She's still a little slow and lacks a bit of a flow but definitely improving.

I thought Mao was obviously better than Phaneuf in artistry. Phaneuf, while spectacular in her jumps, was more stiff in her moves inbetween.

Wow, Caroline ends the night with the highest TES! She should be proud of herself -- best she could've skated with her technical ability!

Makes no sense that Yu Na is 3rd in LP. I would have had her clearly in 1st.

I couldn't believe it.
She was much better.
Asada's today program was one of my worst.

missed the beginning, and decided to sit back and not do by the PbP... but this will be much analyzed anyway by everyone....

I'm trying to decide who i like better choreographically between her and Joannie... commentater enthuses about choreo here, but i think Joannie has more.. problem maybe is that Joannie has TOO much, to the detriment of being able to flow with more abandon at points

Even though I am not interested in Asian Skaters, when Kim got high score, she deservers it. However Asada didn't. Whenvere she did well or not, she got high scored.

I disagree. Though there are many people who complain about it, Mao gets judged fairly. Her performance tonight obviously deserved the place it got, though she did make mistakes she did skate well. Her choreography and technical elements were extremely strong except for the few jump mistakes. Her step sequence was phenomenal.

Really, I admire Zhang's fighting spirit. And I really didn't think she was slower than others today (Czisny, Phaneuf, Flatt...).
