They're leaving room for the later skaters and I would go so far as to say they are marking so the American's have a chance at getting 13 points. Witht eh US being a powerhouse in ladies skating I can't see the ISU wanting them to lose out on having 3 ladies next year.

I thought Elene would become next best thing when I saw her at Torino Olys.

This is a really interesting observation, although I frankly hope it's not happening...
