They have released some footages of WTT
Mai said she was very happy when Yuzuru gave her Cindarella shoe at k/c, also it seems before victory ceremony he went to her congratulated and praised saying she is 2nd and only behind Medvedeva, Mai said she was really happy to hear such words from Yuzuru.

Edit : Yuzuru cheering for Mai

She's cute. SHe tugs on her ears when she's nervous... like before skating... and when Yuzu was talking to her in that clip before the victory ceremony, lol.

compared to Satoko, i would say she is more extroverted

a little late but regarding the interview , some parts felt like reading one of Yuzuru's interviews :laugh:esp part where she is fangirling over Mao reminded me of Yuzuru's Evgeni love  and how she is so aware of her shortcomings and not afraid to talk about it, also the part about her illness and recovery made me think there is always a silverlining but we focus on the bad and refuse to see it, we know how she suffered at hospital both physically and mentally but it also made her stronger and made her realize how much she loves the sport, and she brought that joy during the season and hopefully she will continue to do so

It seems she said that she is putting SP combo in second half this year.

I'm curious if she will put only 2A or flip in first half, whatever is more comfortable for her is the most important but obviously she has to think about each point.

the end caption was "challenging olympic season with dear mentor"

after the shopping bit they asked her how is the time away from skating. she says she still feels that she wants to skate. and then afterwards add that occasionally it is nice.

nakano coach was with her for 10+ years. apart from skating, also wants the kids she teach to turn into good adults (the text) | she continues to teach important things outside of skating (narration).

nakano, when they're abroad competing, etc, also supports with cooking every meal for her athletes to manage their nutrition intake.

(voiceover of eating scene, mai : (nakano) is gentle like mother to her, teaches her variety of things, she really respects her. to the extent that she teaches even things in daily life. is "life mentor"

the dw bit was just the whole young girl ---> woman type of narration

nakano: when (mai can bring out) even the fine details in the program, and if she complete all her jumps, I think it becomes possible to see Olympics (like Olympics is within range).

mai: so that I can solidly attend the Olympics––even though there are only two spots––I'd like to work hard so that people can think "It was great that we chose Mihara Mai-senshu for Olympics".

the dw part was all about young girl / woman change because in first part mai was saying it'd be so nice to continue to paint this cinderella story (~ make reality). and that she hopes that people would be able to think "she was different from last year"

She is so sweet

I wonder where they were staying. It does not look like a hotel... with so many skaters popping in and out of Toronto for choreo, staying sometimes for weeks, I wonder if they arrange certain condos or something for their athletes... things that make you go hmmmmm....
