ITA Joe;
Though Brian did extremely well with his prop. I was so impressed with how he put the coatrack on its edge and the rack was swinging back and forth to the music (I'm surprised it didn't fall over) plus BB was actively working the coatrack into his footwork and elements unlike Kurt who spent a lot of time with his head in the toybox.
I don't really like the 3 triple jump requirement for the tech program. Why do they even have this requirement? It's not as if this event is sanctioned by the ISU. I don't like this rule b.c it eliminates a lot of skaters from competing such as Katarina Witt. I liked Bobek's program (even though her swinging arms remind me of Svetlana Khorkina) and found it considerably more enjoyable than Yuka's triple jumps and no choreography in "Naughty Girl". With the lack of skating on TV, this pro competition is the only way to see some of these skaters. I do wish they would invite Rory Flack Burghardt. She is so fantastic and a great example of a skater who made her reputation solely through professional competitions. She was amazing in the Landover events through the years. I'd like to see more opportunities for different pro skaters to shine other than the Olympic medalists.
