I'm watching this with an unstable streaming, so I've lost something about Evan, but I have seen him jumping a 4toe-fall, 3ax,3l,3s,3a hand down,3f+3t I missed the LZ
he got 233.11 .

but Jeffry's now first with Total score of 234.02 3a2t,3f3t,2a,3lz2t2l,3sal,3loop with unclean landing,3lz step out/fall,

Wow. Takahashi just set new world record: 264.41.

Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow..!!!

I'm not sure whether the score is inflated a bit or not(maybe one quad and one quad-combi and all (but one) clean jumps can do that I guess) but it was a great performance!! Congratulations!!

Personally I also feel the 5C marks are inflated but I stopped caring about PCS a long time ago :)

Wow!!!!!!!

Congratulations to Takahashi! What a score! Don't know how he skated yet, but he must have skated incredibly. Wow to Jeffrey! To pull out in front of Evan, it's amazing!

Evan, I can't help but admire him about it. He sticked with the plan and did the quad no matter what! Congratulations to Jeremy and Stephen!

Plus five of his jumping elements were after the halfway point. I can see his PCS being betther than Lambiel's, though, because Lambiel hasn't been that clean with this LP this season. I do agree, that if both are perfect, Lambiel should have the higher PCS.

Let me tell you after watching Daiskue skate I thought to myself he is going to set a record and he did. The man left me breathless. He reminded me of why I love figure skating. He was just amazing. Congrats to him for a well executed COP program and to Jeff and Evan as well. This was a very good competition among the other men but Daiskue owned the LP. Well deserved win for him no question about it.

Compared to Takahashi, Jeffrey Buttle was skating in kindergarden.
Takahashi: two quads, two 3As.
Buttle: one 3A, two 2As, one fall on 3lutz.

I'm not happy about Buttle's scores(150 pts). He was way overmarked again.

Actually, I think Jeff earned the PCS today. It actually was more or less justified that he and Evan tied on them in the short; he was a touch cautious then. Not today. He got a standing ovation at the end.

Evan only landed one combo. I'm assuming he had three planned, but the fall on the 4t and the hand down on the second 3a kept him from adding combos to those jumps.

Jeff landed three combos, one of them a three jump combo.

Takahashi was the star of this show. If he skates like that at Worlds, look out!

What a competition, the best of the season so far! Congratulations to all the medalists! Great job!

Daisuke is amazing! And the judges love him! So do I! I can see him as the new World Champion already!

Kudos to Evan for being such a fighter and going for the quad in each and every program no matter what, he did really really well tonight. Glad to see Jeff is back.

The Worlds will be very exciting.

wow wow WOW - these scores are amazing - this just makes waiting for worlds a real nail biter!!! Congrats to the medalists!!!!!! (wow Takahashi :love:, and I'm so glad to see Buttle fighting and on the podium; and too bad for Evan but this does show - for the naysayers, what a contender he is - he left a lot of points on the table and still medaled, oh these worlds might be amazing!!!!!)

Just watched top three LPs from Youtube thread. Again the placement was right.

Takahashi is amazing! He deserved this world record high marks! One quad and one quad combo, two 3As, one in combo, with choreography, and passion, only one little shaky landing. What more do you want?!:bow::bow:

Jeffrey's presentation was great! One has to question about over 150 points with only one 3A, two shaky landings, and a fall. But he deserved being placed above Evan. So if Evan scored 149.05, why couldn't Jeffrey score 150.17?

Same feeling for Evan's LP as always. Dull choreography and performance. But one has to admire his courage.:agree:

Yes , Daisuke really rocked!
The best this season !

I was wondering that is he so popular in Korea ? The crowd cheered him and Buttle like mad. :p

There is no why in hell that Daisuke beat Plushenko's record and I don't even like Plushenko! Daisuke was sloooo as **** and he under=rotates. No wonder noone watches anymore. And he stumbled in his footwork. carry on girls

Slow? Daisuke?
No way Daisuke underrotates.
Sorry, but you're way off.
