Congrats to Patrick! You have skills to die for! I can't tell which is your foot work cuz it's all footwork! You are so elegant and classic. You are mesmerizing to watch! Hope you do really well at Worlds and Grand Prix Final. You have what it takes to be at the top.
I'm thrilled that Patrick won the title twice in a roll! Congrats Patrick!
Even though he's program is not perfect but for me it is still the most mesmerizing performance to watch.
I also like Kozuka and think he's got smooth edges and great skating skills like Chan. But when I watch their performances closely, I think there is no denying that Patrick's program has much more complex in-between elements. There is practially no preparation time before any of his jump (with the exception of 3A). He also demonstrated more emotions and musicality (not that I don't enjoy Kozuka's quiet, subtle presentation. but I think Chan should be rewarded for his interpretation of music) While I think Kozuka's mark could have been higher, I believe Chan absolutely deserved to win this title. If you think about it, regardless of PCs, Kozuka fell twice in this competition and one of which resulted in no marks for a missed jump; while Chan had two mistakes and probably received some deductions but would still be granted marks for completing those jumps. Chan's win makes sense.
I am in no way trying to bash Kozuka because I like his skating a lot as well and think he should have been given higher PC marks (he was adorable in the gala ^^). But I don't think Chan deserves all those "kozuka was robbed" and "chan shouldn't have won" comments in this TEB competition.

You can't have it both ways, I'm afraid. If Kozuka's marks were higher, Chan wouldn't win.
Why 'probably'? It's all in the protocols. Kozuka fell on the flying spin's entrance in the SP, got zero points for it. OK, it justifies Chan's win in SP, because Chan was _almost_ (but not entirely) clean.
In the LP though, Kozuka had a flawed quad (Chan has never attempted one in competition), and then did the same 8 triples (yes, after that painful fall). Also, unlike Chan, he landed a 3A+3T combo. Kozuka also landed 3 combos in the LP, while Chan only 2. So I don't see how Chan's win makes sense " regardless of PCs".
Just as I said above - you can't have it both ways. Kozuka would have won with higher PCS. But he had lower PCS in the SP as well as in the LP, compared to Chan.

Chan and I can finally get along. But I still try to avoid his scary eyes...
My heart hurt so much for Brian.. Why can't he make it work? I want to see that program perfect before this season ends, it's such a great program. (But why did he remove the feathers? I liked them very much

Yes he would. Chan won the LP by 3 points. If you think that lead was fair and that Kozuka deserved 2 more points in the Program Components, it means Chan still wins.
Which is also aside from factoring in the SP, where Chan had over a 4 point lead.
IMO, Kozuka deserved to win the LP by a small amount but Chan deserved to win overall.
I didn't say anything about 2 points on PCS.
I also didn't mention a "!" call on the Chan's lip in the SP, and no call at all on that same combo a day later, level 4 for that CiSt with a special high GOE. But a tech controller can do this much, the rest is taken care of by the judges.

The penalty is that the second one is scored as a "sequence" (with no second jump.) So Chan got 80% of the base value for the triple Axel (but then he got the 10% second half bonus).
Verner is in the run as well
