New Choreographers?

I wasn't really going for just Evan's choreography/er... there are other skaters who people have said need a new choreographer...

I'm not saying Evan can't skate a Chris Dean Program. You brought up how some consider Wilson's stuff difficult, I was just saying Chris also has that reputation. I'd bet Evan would have a mountain to climb to skate a Chris Dean program the way Dean expected it, but I would agree he's up to the challenge. But would all that work be worth it when it comes to the judging?

Considering how much the judges seem to appreciate Buttle´s CoP-programmes, I´d say that for Evan (as for Jeff) the necessary work to skate a David Wilson programme is not futile, in my opinion.

When I said Die Fledermaus, I was talking about the SP! which I assumed was Orser's.

You seem to imply (at least that's the way it is written) that YuNa is the only skater that has a whole team for help. I am 99% certain that the top 10 skaters in the world have whole teams to help them.

Indeed! But you specifically mentioned Evan and Bezic. I think other posters were just trying to put forth other considerations. The topic is not an informative one; but one for other opinions.

This may be a serious topic for Evan in which he must make a decision.

As to others, I would like to see Ashley skate to something else besides the old standard, Jalousie.

Speaking of Tanith and Ben...I wonder whose idea it was to come up with their exhibition number this year...I absolutely HATE it!

I was rather impressed with - now I forgot his name..but he's a senior mens skater who did a lot of choreographing this year...I think he's from the SW...Anyhow, I was impressed with his work. Anyone have a name for me?

According to my program from Nationals, Braden choreographed for Bebe, Ryan Bradley, and himself. I thought his choreography for Bebe made for some of the best skating I have seen from her. I remember also being very impressed with the choreography in his own program. I don't recall what I thought of Ryan's choreography.

He won an award for his choreography last year, IIRC.

I dunno I wasn't all that impressed with his Pirates number that every one said I'd like, but I think it was just because after a whole week of the SAME CUTS from THREE Pirates movie soundtracks I just couldn't get into another one... There are way better pieces that no skater seemed to think to use BLAH!

I'd suggest Nathan Birch for Evan, myself. Is he still doing choreography?
