In today's OI, Dick commented that he changed his mind regard the figure. He is now all for bring figures back. He said some of today's young skaters can do triple flip, triple lutz, but don't know how to stroke, don't know how to skate from this end of rink to the other end of the rink.

The fsvids site's Olympics section is closed until some time after the Olympics. 'Membership' was limited to people who had contributed videos prior to the start of the games. Sorry about that.

I'm on fsvids 'unwelcomed' list because I lack the technical equipment to do postings & make my own videoclips. Only wealthy people need apply, it seems.

I just wanted to say that I am a member in good standing at fsvids and I have never been able to make a video. This computer is 7+ years old and barely creeping along. I just reupload for others (using Yousendit) what I have been given. That's really all that's needed. It's a great site. Believe me, if I were wealthy, I would definitely have a newer computer.

I have been LOVING this show! Mary Carillo has been doing a great job...I have enjoyed her doing tennis for so many years, she's fun, quirky, and entertaining. I might actually miss OI more than the actual Olympics! It's just been cracklin' good television with oodles of information and behind the scenes tours! Oh, and Moskvina Minute is fabulous! I liked the one where she collects excuses!

1000+ video collection??? (My heart is palpitating! I'm fighting for air!)

There are really just a handful over there who make the videos. They also serve those of us who can only sit and wait for the the videos to upload. :yes: Most of us just repost videos (filling requests when we can) that we have downloaded. Reposters are very welcome there, because most of the work of the board is in passing on the videos already made. Some people send copies of their vhs videos to the "video makers" and they do the uploading. That's how we got the 1961 US National videos.
I am sure you will be very welcome there!

That's really thoughtful, but my friend taped them all and can get them to me... I just kind of wanted it on my computer.
