This is an interesting program, and I appreciate it very much, but I don't like commentators just sitting in flimsy fold-up chairs and trying to shout over the music being pumped over the loudspeaker behind them.

The producers are trying to make the audience feel like they're in the rink with everyone else, but it needs to be less hectic and more professional. They said so much, so quickly, during the first half hour that I didn't get any of it.

Can we just have Jamie & David commentating all the time? Their comments were fascinating and insightful! I never knew David was so chatty.

(This show is on the USA Network, every night at 6 PM Eastern.)

I didn't see all of it, but I agree about the music. That was annoying. Isn't there an enclosed booth they could put them in?

I also thought their picks for the top five men were interesting.

1. Plushenko
2. Lambiel
3. Buttle
4/5 Lysacek, Savoie

I still think Buttle is more of a long shot and that Joubert will be top five, but interesting all the same. :)

hey, it wasn't that bad. Sure it could be better (can't everything else?), but it's nice to have an "insider" look at things. I plan to PVR every episode that I can.

I liked it a lot. In fact, I even liked hearing the music in the background as the skaters practiced ... made me feel like I was getting to view something we never get to see on the regular broadcast.

Most of all, I'm just delighted that we will get to see a skating program every night!

Okay, so far, I've gone from liking this program to really liking it. It promises to be a lot of fun, with Tamara Moskvina and others making cameo appearances and a lot of silly jokes, with funny stuff from Jamie and David.

This show is extremely cool.

Who is the female commentator with the low voice? I've never heard of her or seen her before.

I love this show. Lots of great tidbits and interesting stuff.

I am really falling in love with Jamie and David due to this show... yes they are corny and canned at parts, but I feel like they are being required to do silly things by the producers.

David has a nice voice and would make a great commentator.

I'm really enjoying this program, and have encouraged some friends (more casual skating fans) to tune in.

Does anyone have the link for sending questions to "Uncle" Dickie (Push Dick's button    )?

I like it a lot so far.......seems to be giving out some interesting information while at the same time, being lighthearted.

I just think it's great to have a program dedicated to skating to watch every night!!

Does anyone else think Mary Carillo's speaking voice sounds a little like Robin Roberts from ABC Sports?

I don't know who Robin Roberts is, but I can't understand how she ever got to be an announcer. I don't like her voice at all.

Whoever said David and Jamie should do it were right. They are much easier to listen to, and I love their comments and humor.

I am really enjoying the fact that there will be something about skating on everyday. Today I will still be watching the Olympics even though there is not figure skating (Loving the speed skating though) but it will be nice to see some discussion about the pairs sp and other stuff, even on a no skating day.

Mary Carillo does have a deep voice, but she is a very good commentator, being extremely quick-minded, witty and observant. She usually does tennis, and as a long-time tennis fan (Monica Seles fan, really), I'm accustomed to her quirky style.

Mary Carillo started out as a tennis player herself many years ago. Of her own tennis career, she has said, "I was aggressively mediocre." That Sal-ChowABunga comment was pure Carillo, as she loves to hit the viewer with clever word play. (But what really made me fall off the couch was Scott Hamilton's deadpan "Fo shizzle.")

Dube/Davison

I hate that Dube/Davison were not shown on NBC coverage. Bravo to Olympic Ice for giving them air time. Also nice to hear Sale/Pelletier's commentary on them (and I/B, Z/Z, and S/Z).

And they showed their entire performance!!! Watch out Vancouver!!!
