Thank you Patrick! For coming back, with the breathtaking triumphant glorious victory.

May the come back continue to fulfill you and elevate figure skating. We are with you all the way for the ride!

I couldn't watch him live. I only saw the comments while he was skating.
so happy for him. good job.:2thumbs:

Congratulations to Patrick!! I loved his free skate it's probably my favourite men's program this season. Good job and I hope he does equally well for all his other competitions later on in the season!

This performance and win is special because now we know he is really back. Up till the Free Skate tonight, we didn't know if he was really ready. It takes both skills and mental strength to compete and win at the highest level, knowing you are up against the best and being watched intensely by the whole figure skating world. It takes a champion mindset to deliver under such pressure.

Welcome back, Champ!

Just on another level as far as skating goes; when the jumps are on, it's magnificent! Definitely put any doubt to rest, the nicest way for a comeback, no?

Can anyone tell me if his 3T is supposed to be a 4T?

Great video, vivley.

So happy Patrick's got it right mentally, that he is able to dump emotions and thoughts to get on the ice to perform. i.e. he is able to get into The Zone where there is only here and now, this moment. When a person can mind his/her mind, life is bliss and success is joy rather than struggle. Yet, most everybody is busy minding others, while totally unable to control their own thoughts, feelings, words and deeds.

If Johnson can be his trash can before competing skates, she's worth her weight in gold.

Yes it was supposed to be a 4T even though he had said he would do only one quad. Watch your words, Patrick, because they will come true.

Watch your thoughts, because thoughts become words.

Watch your words, because words become actions.

Watch your actions, because actions become habits.

Watch your habits, because habits become your character.

Watch your character, because character becomes your destiny.

- By Gandhi, I think.

I will have to copy your quote about life being bliss when we can mind our minds!

As for Johnson being his trash can - LOL! :laugh2:
