:shocked: Plushenko hated in Russia?

Though Patrick named Plushenko as one of his idols at the Vancouver Olympics, the two have never been close, probably due to a generation gap and that they didn't get to compete together except for the Olympics. Joubert and Patrick never really had personal grudges and went on to develop a better relationship by Worlds 2010. Johnny kept mocking Patrick until he turned pro commentator. But they have worked together at least once in China as friends. Of course Johnny was very happy as the object of affection and the focus of attention there. :)

Now plusenko is a big star, but more in mass media (for his exclusives in Tv and his famous wife)

But for his ridiculous declarations about his return, his lacks of respect about other skaters and his performance in Sochi; it is not estimated by the real fans of the figure skating. If you enter to russian forums, the fso is the most important, you will see that often the moderators have to erase complete pages of threads because they focus in criticizing to Plushenko.

Wow, I had no idea. I thought he was worshipped in Russia or at least a megastar. Skating fans can really be scathing.

As for me the best part is where Scott appears. His "chiddy" was so kind and cute. My favorite bromance ever *0*

Plushenko hated in Russia? Ha, I guess I live in other country. No, there are people who objectively understand that everything that makes Plushenko - a farce. But most still support and admire him. But I don't understand that , I always was a fan of Yagudin XD
Moreover, Plushenko has good relationship with Yuzuru, that only give reason to hate Patrick even more. I have nothing against Hanyu or Plushenko, but we have a lot inadequate fans, especially Hanyu's fans, whose are usually offend Patrick. What happened after his victory at Skate Canada'15 ... That's was awful.

Our other problem why so refers to Patrick in that all of his interviews don't translate completely. Usually pull up any quote and all. And then people think that Patrick narcissistic jerk. ~_~

i will watch it again later and see if i can extract a couple of the good jokes for you but mostly, they all pretty much know the answers but Patrick is never first to squeeze his chicken so they tease each other... if someone beats me to it, great :) if not, i will try to see what I can do later ;) but yeah... it's so nice to see their camaraderie and how much fun they have... i was like... wow... it's just like when i play games with my own friends.... i want to play games with them lol
