On Twitter people were mentioning that they hoped Patrick would make an appearance on "Yuri on Ice". I wasn't sure what they were talking about until I saw this video. Do some parts of the animated skating performance remind me of Patrick? Yes, yes they do.

well.. the spin positions are patrick's... but patrick's skating skills are much better ;)

:love: the spins are really exact copies of Patricks spins! Every position and the order in his programs is the same. Understandable, he has such beautiful lines during his spins.:luv17:
 
Hey VB, I didn't know that among the North American skaters that share the last name Chan/Chen, Chinese fans grouped them together and nicknamed them like siblings (陈一姐，陈二群，陈小三、陈四妹), with Patrick and Nathan being numbers 2 and 3 in the pecking order, Chen #2, Chen #3, etc. How cute!


It's really nice to see Patrick enjoying time with his friends at a competition. A fan onsite at Finlandia reported that he and Nathan were chatting happily together. :)

Gorgeous 3S. I wonder how the 4S is coming along. ;) In the 3Lz video, the music is indistinguishable and very jarring, since we don't have the context. Love the pics from Finlandia, especially the one with Marina - so sweet. :) I wonder if Oleg and Johnny are there; Marina seems to be the one in all the photos so far. This is an exciting weekend for Patrick fans!!! :yay:

According to this article, he's been landing 3 out of 5 attempts of the 4S, but we probably won't see it here.

Thanks for the link to the article.

Patrick is sticking to his guideline of debuting a new jump in competition when it has an 80% success rate. No "planning to fall". :)

So now he and Nathan are fast friends from Zoueva's rink and companions at Finlandia. To know him is to love him seems very apropos for Patrick. :)
