I was wrong? When I heard the music, the slower, calm tempo seemed similar to some of the classical pieces you had suggested. That's why I thought you might like it.
yup indeed, you are wrong

i do not like crossover music... see, I prefer the Beatles over the snippets of music we have heard from today's practice videos.
Earlier on, there were some excerpts with piano that sounded a bit better... (a few months ago) but again, they were very short.
I mean, some soundtracks from some film scorers are great, like Schindler's list or some by Ennio Morricone among many others... so in that capacity, I am understanding when it comes to crossover music... (pop music made to sound like classical music... my definition...)
So to me, and I understand that we all have different tastes, it will be difficult to like that music. I am sure Patrick will skate beautifully on it.... as he is a great skater and he could skate on anything, probably even the jeopardy theme song
However, as personally, I connect better to classical music, I wish that he would skate to some deeper and more refined music... especially since his skating his deeper and refined
I think that perhaps, I love Patrick's skating so much, because he is what I would consider " a classical skater" great lines, refinement, depth, seeking aesthetic perfection at all times, flow, speed, smoothness... that's the kind of music playing I aim to do and the kind of music I love to listen to. I can appreciate other styles but yeah, Elegy, Chopin, Vivaldi, his Aranjuez etc... those were all amazing programs of classical music done so well.
This being said, I also adored his take 5 which is jazz etc... anyways... enough banter... i am so tired i am not even sure I make any sense
