Random Confessions

my first self-made cheesecake with peaches on top is sitting in the oven...hope it will be good, because I'd like to bring it tomorrow to work:)

Cheesecake, the best kind of cake!

I just started this "5:2 fast diet" thing. I probably shouldn't be reading posts about cake. :gaah:

NoNameFace, you are always making the best stuff! I would like a virtual sample of this, por favor! :thank: :hb:

aww, thanks a lot Arriba!!!:ghug:, it's really nothing fancy, believe me, and I'm doing like 'fit' or 'stripped from goodie' version of any cakes/pies:laugh:, i.e. without sugar, oils, white flour etc. - things you traditionally adding to cakes/pies. Unfortunately,I have no access to any good camera to make and post a photo, but You can google 'cheesecake with peaches, round form' and will get the idea:), except the base are wholegrain biscuits instead of pastry and it's not very high as I used bigger form than recommended. And thank You for 'making the best stuff' line - lately, I just re-discovered cooking/baking again after my diets saga fiasco, it helps me relax and give out feelings, because I do believe that there's a love given by food:)

good luck with the diet! I don't really know this one, but I suppose You could eat a small piece, I made it as a 'fit' version, no sugar, no oils, no flour. And still looks and tastes like a cheesecake:laugh:

I've found some of the fit versions are pretty decent. And really all you have to do is fool your eyes. Your stomach doesn't know the difference! :)

Eating super amazing pizza right now! So happy since I've been craving it!:p:biggrin:

It's basically an average week consisting of 2 days of 'fasting' (600 calories/day) and 5 days of 'normal' eating. Today is a 600 calorie day, so I try to make every calorie count. (I've lost 20 pounds in the last three weeks so far.)

A chick eating bunny would spoil all Easters and fairy tales!

An image brought to you by a pure heart made of Unicorn and rainbows.

at least you could recycle your comments without spelling mistakes ;)

I'm consistent. I have the same reaction to an exact same repost of an earlier comment. I at least modified the recycled response.

Random confessions : I have a hard time with typos ;)

Typos are always quoted and become obvious when it's too late to edit and correct them.

Realizing that a bad event in my life has brought me a very good one to follow it and I'm happier than before. :hap93:

:2thumbs:

Events are what you make of them and learn from them. There are lots of blessings and miracles in disguise.

A story behind a Chinese proverb: An old man at the national border lost a horse, and everybody felt sorry for his bad luck. He said, "We don't know yet if this may or may not be a good thing." The horse returned with a beautiful wild horse and everybody envied his good fortune. He said, "We don't know yet if this may or may not be a good thing." His son broke his leg trying to ride the wild horse and everybody felt sorry for him again. The old man said, "We don't know yet if this may or may not be a good thing." A war broke out and the government came to conscript all young men in the village to fight as soldiers but the old man's son was spared because of the broken leg........
