I've just finished putting together my first totally customized desk. After 10 years using a average sized desk I got from a furniture chain, I've added a 2 meter long extension and now my desk extends across two sides of my room. I had originally hoped to bribe one of my brothers to build it for me, but he was busy with his life. I watched some youtube videos on how to use a saw, bought some sturdy adjustable table legs and got the table-top wood from a hardware store nearby. They cut it to size and delivered it to my door. This meant I only had to sand, varnish and drill it all together. I used the off-cuts from the table top to make some shelves for my art supplies.
This is my first solo carpentry project and it's turned out better than I expected. -It took 3 days to complete and I did not cut off my own fingers with the saw, or drill a hole through the floor on accident.
So on top of amazing drawing skills You are also a talented carpenter? Congratulations on putting this customized desk
