I liked the first part of Maia's program. She's skating with a lot of confidence, and was selling it well. I didn't like the Roxanne part. Not just the music, but I also felt her interpretation was weaker in that section.

Who skated to Mulan ? There is Akatieva (still a junior, so no Olympics for her), Samodurova (who, let's be honest, has 0 chance of going to Beijing)... Who else ?

My comment is for Samodurova and this season - but if anyone else does, for me it would read like that. I believe Madeiline Schizas as well?

Dasha said she had it but had a small injury and left it out.
Maia is working on it, it's coming along well and she hopes to include it in her programs at some point this season.

Ok we went from Disney songs for 19 year olds to songs talking about "selling your body to the night" for 15 year olds. Take your pick.

But Khromykh lands a quad, good for her. If she does it regularly she could make the Olympic team.

I prefer the Disney. But, honestly, there are so many songs that are neither about princesses or prostitution. Ksenia's coach knows where to find them.. ask Daniil to look her up

I just thought of something with the potential that Shcherbakova won't be able to go to IDF due to France's restrictions on Russians, can Russia put her in as the host pick for Rostelecom?

I was referring to Frolova but with reference to Shcherbakova, I don't think it is possible to re-assign skaters to a different GP? They did change things for the junior grand prix but not sure about seniors.

The program was bad, but at least you can tell they put some thought into Khromykh's program. Can't say the same about Usacheva's program which has no soul in it whatsoever.

In general thus far, the short programs from Team Tutberdize(and everyone) has been fine... the FS have been terrible. And we still have Bolero and Cruella coming up.
