S.A. Zhuk Memorial - Russian Novices Nationals (younger age) - 10-14 March 2021, Saransk

good for her.
Btw they only count one of the combos and 1 of the single jumps anyway so it doesn't really matter if she lost one combo. I saw you ask that earlier.
Yes I know they only count one of each:)
I was just wondering - some kids who successfully landed their first combo just stopped there, and others choose to go for a second combo, either upgraded or not (going for better quality for GOE)
For example I thought Krivonosova was going to try a 3lz3t in her last combo (but not sure why she didnt go for a 2a3t, which she has landed in competition before

Yeah I wondered that too lol. I think if they land their best combo with a good geo they just opt out of it. Today there's been more of that than yesterday with the boys, all of the boys yesterday did 2 of everything.

Sarymsakovas spin was so beautiful!
Im really enjoying watching Moiseevas girls skating. Between her and Davydov maybe cska will rise again lol.
Hahaha yes Daria Sarymsakova’s spin is out of this world! Those position changes are so hard yet she did it so beautifully...and that flexibility...omg. Her skating skills is also one of the tops, along with Kostyleva and Krivonosova

So moving towards the older girls elements I see 7 girls of interest.

Start numbers 4 and 5 are Rubtsova and Kulikova.

Start numbers 7-9 are three girls that will likely be the top three in the final results of this competition: Titova, Shifrina, Paramonova.

But two more Eteri girls to go. Start number 20 is my girl Daria Sadkova and 23 is her best friend at Team Tutberidze (according to Dasha's recent Instagram stories) Alisa Dvoeglazova.

What a group that was. Titova, Shifrina both impressive with 3Lz-3Lo. No ultra-c's though. Everybody did ultimataly well with Paramonova some problems with 1st tries.

Moscow really dominated the Younger age out of the top 6 five are from moscow!

1. Prineva CSKA
2.Sarymsakova CSKA
3.Bazylyuk Sambo 70
4.Andreeva Sambo 70
5.Krygina Star ice Saint Petersburg
6.Krivonosova Moskvich

quite impressive!

What was the name of the dark haired guy who was at the boards with Titova?

Panova herself was with Shifrina
That's Sergei Alekseev, I'm not sure what his background is exactly.

This means there's a Sergei A, Sergei D, Sergei R and Sergei V in the coaching game these days.

I thought she was going to nail it. Decent hight for her size, but just couldn't rotate in time.

Her 3Lz-3T got surely more points than 3Lz-3Lo
yeah the 3lz-3lo wasn't fully clean so 3Lz-3T most likely is the combo they will keep.
It looked close with the 4T but she did try it few times in practice and fell on them so I didn't have much hope but next season im sure she will nail it.

Kostyleva botched solo jumps, but rocked that StSq (shimmy!) - I would put her second after Petrova!
For instance, Krygina indeed had better edges, but she reminded me a good student doing fine job in comparison to Kostyleva's freedom and abandon of movement. I guess pure techicalities are more important than those features in elements.
Petrova showed it all and here I fully agree on her score - great edges, flow and diversity on par with elegance and natural talent.
Bazyliuk's skating skills are pretty bad for Team Tutberidze's skater, so sloooow.
What happened to Krivonosova jumps today?
Sarymsakova has Valieva vibes on her spins - free hand swirling around rotating leg, so beautiful!
