senior men short program

was anything DGed? for Johnny? 33 seems so low for technical score even without the 3axel.......feel bad for him

Oh no poor Johnny!! darn 3A, and he usually has a great one.... now I am so sad... I've heard of great combacks a-la-Sandu, but maybe it also requires others making mistakes, I dunno... so so sad :(

Just realized JW is six points out of third. He should pull up but if he doesn't would the USFSA keep the 08 World Bronze medalist at home?

Seems low to me too. 3A cost him a little over 8 points, and the other jumps and footwork were better executed than Evan's.

Singling a jump is worse than falling nowadays. It stinks. Johnny should have just chucked the 3A and splatted. He'd be better off.

Douglas Razzano (Maksim Mrvica)

3A gorgeous
3F hand-down + 2T
3Lz hard fall
CCoSp4 almost lost it on the back camel, travelled all over the place
CiSta little bland
FSSp4 slowed way down to get the 8 revolutions in one position
SlSt fairly simple
CSSp4

Johnny deserves to be on the world team or to be silver

He may have lost the title but he is phenomenal

He is one of the best in the world and he produces results

GO JEREMY and JOHNNY!

I think that would depend on who finished ahead of him and where he finishes (and where Lysacek and Abbott finish). If someone besides Lysacek or Abbott wins but they both finish ahead of Johnny then I think they would leave Johnny off the team. But If Johnny finishes 4th or perhaps 5th, and either Lysack or Abbott win then he will most likely be on the team. If he finishes lower than 5th I don't know if he'll make the team or not.

No chance he would have made it all the way around the way his takeoff edge was. Normally I'd rather see skaters go for it and fall (frankly I think a fall on a clean jump should be worth more than a single) but he would have fallen really, really hard.

Johnny Weir's ticket to Worlds may be in jeopardy as he very likely will place 5th in the SP if Ryan Bradley skates the way he is capable of in the SP. Another downfall for Weir is that his programs are not very COP friendly and he very often gives up points in the LP by not maximizing his jump layout. The SP is normally where he would build a strong lead in the past, so he definitely has a very big uphill battle ahead of him.

A) No way that Evan has better skating skills than Johnny. It is a joke to me that Evan's PCS is higher than Johnny's.

B) Fierceyuna is obviously a troll.
