Best and Young had a bad fall during one of their lifts. She was crying when they got off the ice and looked very shaken through the rest of the program.

I feel bad for her...that looked like it really hurt.

LOL i think the judges want M/B to win over I/B 61.12 to 61.11

Not McLaughlin/Brubaker's best...they seemed really nervous (understandable as defending champions!) and something was off with Rockne it seemed IMO. They are only ahead of Inoue/Baldwin by .01, so they need to bring it in the LP.

Is it just me, or does Keauna look like she grew a little taller?

Umm wow okay, Keauna and Rockne are .01 ahead of Rena and John... I'm surprised by how well Inoue/Baldwin did. Last time I really watched them, they were nowhere near this good.

Since last season, yeah. But not that much. She's filled out a little too, so hopefully that means she has avoided the puberty monster and won't really get any taller.

Caydee Denney and Jeremy Barrett have just gone into 1st by a few tenths of a point. I really don't like their short program at all, but their good result will definitely make the long program more interesting.

Aww I shut it too early! I've been curious about Denny/Barrett since Nebelhorn. I'll definitely look for them when the SP is on-demand.

Bahh I just opened the video feed and Nancy's back.

Denney & Barrett were clean and athletic but they are so sloppy and unpolished...Their lines are not very attractive.

Great throw 3 Flip, though.

I like Denney and Barrett!! They deserve first IMO. ALL their elements are not only good, but great! esp. that sbs spin was excellent!! and they had a throw triple flip too, which adds them extra points. They were first in Sectionals as well.

They just need more time, but very good!

They were clean, landed everything, had synchs in spin, had a great Th3F and actually got the crowd going.

That said, they do need a lot of polishing.

Yeah, and that did show in the PCS, mostly low 6s, with one in the 5s. They won in the TES. M/B made too many little mistakes.

The article didn't mention that Jordan/Barrett entered the 2005 French National Championships as guest competitors and won.
