I appreciate Ted explained in his intro that Kara Yun has a bye to Challenge and that 6 of the competitors here will be going on because of that. Very helpful

Konstantina, it's okay, I don't care about jump content for skaters I like!

Brookelynn Pollock in first with 5 skaters to go, so she'll be going on to Challenge. I was hoping Konstantina would make it. Hopefully my other favourites from Kelowna FSC will make it.

I prefer Konstantina too!! But, jumps were problematic.

I love Calissa
This is a perfect program for her. 2nd year in a row she is skating to this program. She did enough to make it to Challenger

Emily Sales - I only know La La Land's songs through figure skating routines Really like her performance quality, total 134.4 total score, she's on to Challenge too!

Angelina…. That was one of the roughest second half’s of a free skate I’ve ever seen. Will she hold on?

Love that she has a bye, but, still skates here and doesn’t chicken out after SP. You might as well use this competition as practice.
Kara has gotten worse on her jumps, but, has improved with her skating skills. I noticed this when she competed at her Junior GP event.
I can’t wait for Kara, Lulu, and Mely-Ann to battle each other at Challenger, and Nationals. I have a feeling one of these three is going to Junior Worlds

Kara Yun - 55.98 TES on the tracker at the end of the program, went down to 48.04, she had underrotations in her protocol for her short yesterday, I think the same happened here. 141.38 total

Yes. You can tell her jumps were not fully rotated. She is going to have to work on this.

Gabrielle did enough to make it to the next stage. I’m predicting a 130+ total score. Would like to see more fight in the second half.

Congrats to all the Junior Ladies that qualified to Challenger.

Gabrielle has potential. She wowed everyone last year at Novice Challenger to win with a 140+ score,. But, then, did much worse at Novice Nationals. It looked like she was happy as I think 2nd place is the highest placement she expected at this competition.

Uliana has a bye, right? So, top 6. I wonder if she will go for a 3A?

Okay, so 7 entries here, with 6 going on to Challenge (top 5, plus Uliana should have a bye to Challenge for her JGP assignment. Ted, you didn't explain this!). So whoever doesn't finish last goes on if I have it right.
