So happy for Shohei. This is the best I have seen him skate in a long time. Great packaging too. I'd wear what he is wearing.. Yeah... it wouldn't look as good on me but I like the outfit Very well done in terms of composition. The choreo really takes advantages of the musical highlights. Well done !

I really liked his expressiveness to the music. He exudes a cool charisma. Looking forward to watching him progress.

Saskatchewan Senior Pairs showdown

Derenisky/Eberl - not sure if it was the camera angle, coming down from the twist looked a little iffy. Jumps were good. 56.07

Schmitz/Taylor - Hands down on the jump for her. Fall on the throw. Looks like it was a double twist? 46.02

There isn't much to say about Saskatchewan/Manitoba junior women other than getting the Manitoba flag wrong. I'll see how Breken Brezden does when it gets to senior women.

I liked Breken starting with the layback spin, that was interesting. 46.48, hopefully she'll get the 3T+3T down for Challenge. The 2T+3T was neat though.

I love Breken!! Her smile as she skates is contagious. Definitely, someone I will be rooting for, for Challenger. She is one of those borderline National contenders.

Her song made me sad, as it reminded me of Nadeau

he competed also in BC during the summer... we will see if he transfers officially one day... when Virtue Moir came back and started training at IAM they did represent quebec...
