Not a fan of parties anywhere, but I'd definitely go out. My cat is terrified of strangers and noise and confusion and I put him first.

Online, definitely, and have everything delivered.

Many short ones. (Librarians, in specialized libraries like government or business head offices where I worked, don't get four to five weeks' annual holiday! Three at most, usually just two weeks.)
