I don't want to raise the idea of a conspiracy but I can't help thinking that the "big plan" have begun when the FED forced Yulia's staff to change the FP. There was no reason and she openly said she liked it. And after a stressful season and some other problems (injury, boot etc..) you only need something you like and you can skate without worries. But they made the situation even more complicated and also forced her to skate for unnecessary standings reason (Adelina didn't need standing points?). The reason? I don't know... Maybe they weren't happy because after Sochi Adelina was the skater the whole world "hated" while Yulia was the little girl everyone loved. And maybe they couldn't stand an "external" girl to have all the attention and love.
Some posts I read here, with a comparison of Russian skaters' best scores during the season, are better than 10,000 words. The FED hit where they had the overall control over points. It's really inexplicable since no one did a splat fest and no one, on the other hand, did a sumptuous performance that could justify the score (they were all very concentrated and no one delivered a flawless performance).
Well.... maybe I'm exaggerated and, as well as Yulia, I need a break, enjoy the rest of the season and wait for her return. In the meanwhile I wish her all the best for school, happiness and health *hugs* I'm sure we'll always support her and every decision she'll do in the future.

)is it possible the fed is actually protecting Yulia from further damage by keeping her from competing this season? Sure if she goes to Worlds or even Euros she could pick up some points for world rankings but at what expense? The judges impressions may be hurt in the long run if she has more bad skates as opposed to her sacrificing a few points by not competing and starting the next season fresh where she can build up her scores again and have a less damaged....on the big stage...reputation. Food for thought and just an alternate possibility. I'm afraid unless Eteri decides to post here, which is possible since she speaks English
, we will likely never know for sure what is actually going down.
