this girl is awesome, thanks for the translations ^^I really liked You Don't Give Up on Love and, of course, SL. Megapolis was ok; I guess I had huge expectations for it and when it was used to portray childhood, I was disappointed, thinking it was very fitting for a more mature program. But R&J... I know it didn't come near to its potential, but all I could see was Ilya trying, and failing, to reproduce Schindler's List with another song. Something tiny that was brought to my attention was the Bauer: It didn't belong in that moment as well as it did in SL, but it was still there. The elements, IMO, were the same. There was no innovation.

Mostly how I feel (especially in regard to test skate), except I loved the kite! :yes:True. This may have had much to do with Ilya's kite image, which struck me as trivial and misleading. And suggested a child. Based on some of her comments, I'm not sure she appreciated the conflict in Megapolis on a conscious level. But in her test skate she got to the heart of the Megapolis nightmare, she really brought out the tension between human spirit versus repressive society. Huge expectations at this point for me. Then brilliance and intensity were ratcheted down in subsequent performances. Megapolis and R&J belong together, much was lost. I'd like to see them again in the distant future if conditions are right.

Lenok83, thank you very much for being our inside-man on the chat
Could anybody please enlighten me on the two answers in the quote? I´m not sure what "stellar disease" is (can´t deduce from her answer either) and what happened between Polina and Julja (I assume that they just don´t spend much time together anymore, or did I miss something)? Thanks in advance![]()
